Sweater Weather Is My Weather 🍂

I’ve waited long enough. The sweaters are coming out.

Don’t get me wrong, I love summer. But there’s something about that first cool day when you can finally pull on a ridiculously soft knit, grab a coffee and walk outside without immediately regretting every clothing decision you made.

Fall fashion for me is all about being comfortable without looking like I gave up.

And yes, that means turtlenecks. Lots of turtlenecks.

I love a fitted turtleneck with jeans and boots when I want to look a little more put together. An oversized chunky knit when comfort is the only thing on the agenda. And those perfectly cozy sweaters that are just big enough to disappear into when the temperature drops.

My fall closet is basically built around a few simple rules: soft, cozy, easy and cute.

Give me chunky knits, creamy neutrals, warm browns, black leggings, lived-in denim, boots and layers I can keep adding as the weather gets colder.

And one of my favorite things about fall? You really don’t need to overthink an outfit. A great sweater does most of the work for you.

So consider this my official notice:

Turtleneck season has begun. 🍂🤎

And I plan on taking full advantage.
